Well, that was interesting ter know, if nuffin else. He wrote’t inter a mini-message, one he’d sent ter th’team once he ‘ad more information. Sah…wot location yer in real-life wise had nae effect on where ye showed up in th’game. Er, unless she din’t actually live with her da. Well’t kind ov made sense? In a way? Bu’ it also juss made everyfing a bit more confusing. ‘Cause if ye was in a room wiff a friend…an’ both of ye stahhted th’game…ye’d expect ter be in th’same place. Uhg, bu’ he was nae any programmer sah he was best ter avoid fretting abahht’t.
…Ohhhh or she an’ he din’t stahht at th’same time. Well, awright, that could be’t. He saw th’look ov…maybe anxie’y, or somefing? Cross her face, an’ tried ter give a reassuring smile. ”Dahhn’ worry he’s prob’ly fine. If he got ‘nuff sense ter raise a capable lil lass I’m sure he’s awright himself.” Uh that was a wad ov bull crap right’ere. Bu’ he wanted ter try an’ keep her calm if possible. Thank th’Lahhd his own mam was nae playing else he might ov bin a bit panicked himself.
KING took a bit to think abahht wot kind ov man her da was. He tapped ‘is chin. ”Yer da seems like a homebody kind ov bloke. Might want ter look indoors someplace…mmm, if ‘e managed ter find an inn I’d guess ye’d find him holed up in a room.” KING gave a moment ter think. Hum. Th’residential area had a good lot ov inns an’ shops an’ uvver places he migh’ be at. ”…Righ’ where we are’s prob’ly th’wrong place…this’s shops an’ retail an’ stuff. Uh, ‘less he’s hanging in some tea shop someplace or somefing. Bu’ if he’s in a room ov some inn I’d guess we have ter git ter th’residential district. We’n probably find him there someplace.” He tried ter smile. ”…Unless he’s ahht lookin’ fer you.”

IT'S MORE THAN A SOUND
It seemed that KING was trying to put her at ease, which, while not necessary of course, did go a long way towards improving Aria's opinion of the guy. Which, in all fairness, had been pretty low to start with.
"I've checked the inn already." It wasn't said with pride, not exactly. It was a pretty obvious place to look, after all. But she hadn't found the man, obviously, and no-one seemed to have seen him, or, at least, remembered seeing him. "I was kinda hoping he'd just be wandering around town, and I'd find him or someone who he'd met, or something." After all, if he was trying to make sure that this game was 'safe,' he'd probably want to make sure the people in it were mostly decent folk, right? Would make sense if he stopped to talk to a few people. "But no-one seems to have seen him. Do you think he might've left town? I've only really checked the streets themselves."
It was quite possible that he was off doing quests or something like that, or just wandering out in the fields, lost and confused. In either case, it was clear that he was in desperate need of his daughter's aid.

- Already has thread with Hiero, so this quest is probably doomed to failure. But won't hurt to discuss next time the C-Box is working and she's online.

”Already checked huh? Dahhn…” he muttered; he’d hoped’t would be that easy. Bu’ when was anyfing so easy? Ah well. ‘e took note ov’t all th’same. ”Well ‘ey I guess ‘at juss means one less place ter look later.” He tried ter smile pleasantly, bu’ it was a little bit awkward when th’lass was, um, missing her pa. ”Bu’ I dahhn suppose it’s unfeasible yer ol’ man went ahht ov th’tahhn…mayhap he got lost? Or hey ‘e could be looking ter find ye.” He really…wanted ter drive home th’thought that maybe he was ahht trying ter find his lil bird. It din’t bring ‘em any closer ter finding him…bu’ at least it was…a positive way ter look at not having fahhnd him? Kinda?
KING gave’t a bit ov thought. ”Uhhhhn. Th’game runs on ‘merican time yea? I’m nae sah good wiff time zones, bu’ eventually it’s gonna git dahhk. I’d say th’best thing ter do is look um….how do I put this.” KING scratched his head. ”If it gets dahhk out we cannae see anyfing, yea? It’d be best ter cover…less open places first. ‘least in an open space yea dahhn’ git lots ov shadows ter block yer view – get wot I mean?” He bit ‘is lip. ”Mefinks….plan ov action….stahht looking ahhtside ov tahhn now, an’ come back ‘ere later in th’day…night…whene’er….an’ try looking arahhnd indoors. He’d be more likely ter come back ‘ere late at night ter find a place ta crash.”
His eyes brigh’ened a bit. ”Oh um and. Jus’ in case somefing ‘appens, an’ we git separated, it migh’ be good if we add each uvver, sah we can ring each uvver if we need.” He really hoped that din’t happen ov cahrse…he din’t really want ter leave ‘er alone till she got her dad back if 'e could help't.
OOC Ooooh I didn't even notice that thread. Doho oops. But yeh poking the Hiero when cbox is chattable sounds good. Also stealth asking for number is not very stealth.|| ARIA |

"We-ell... that's the thing. I'm pretty sure my dad's not going to be looking for me." Aria looked at the ground, a bit sheepish. "You see, I don't think he knows that I'm in the game. Not yet, anyway." She nodded to herself, and placed her hands on her hips. "I came in here to rescue him, though. But I need to find him before I can do that." To be honest, she knew she was kinda ignoring any part of the plan that came after finding him, but she did also honestly believe that things would just work themselves out, somehow. Maybe they'd have to clear a dungeon and beat up some bad guy first, but nothing insurmountable.
As for the rest of KING's suggestion, it made a good deal of sense to Aria. "Since he doesn't know I'm here, I wouldn't be surprised if he had gone off on a quest, or something. So those kinds of places might not be a bad idea to check while we're searching." By her nodding and affirmative tone, however, it was clear that she was, by and large, agreeing to KING's plan. She did falter when the suggestion of exchanging contact information came up. She could almost hear the cautioning words of her dad, telling her of the perils that lie in wait across the internet. Still, it seemed people here looked as they did in real life, and KING didn't sound like some horrible pervert. So after a bit of hesitance, she assented, sending the guy a friend request, then turning her gaze out towards the nearest town exit. "So, where shall we start looking...?" It was half said to herself, and, with that shine in her eye, it was clear that Aria was more than a little excited.
