KING is not a boy, but a young man. He has been since he turned ten and no one, not even his mum, can tell him otherwise. And no he doesn't answer to Douglas but to KING, it must be KING. But what can be said about this bo....man? He was born exactly thirteen years and one-hundred twenty days ago. And if you wanna be accurate, twelve hours. He lives in Australia in a meh-neighbourhood; people are fine most of the time, but there's still just a bit of prejudice going around that even a young lad like him notices. Colour's still a thing that irks people. Oh he's aware of what they say - that little black kid will grow up to be a menace. Just 'cause he's a bit energetic....and what, 'cause they're whispering they think he can't hear? Oh whatever. 

At least his online friends aren't rude like that. They understand. They get it, that grown-ups suck and need to stop judging everyone and even more than anything need to start treating them kids like grownups too. His mum doesn't know, but KING is part of a pretty sizeable community of kids all around the globe that talk about actually real issues. ...Okay so most of the stuff they talk about is the winning soccer team and the new amazing movie and the best video games out there but they also debate and talk about important stuff too okay? KING has had a hard time connecting with people in his own home city....but online? Online he has a home. Online he has a collective of friends who revere him, who look up to him as their glorious big brother. They're kids who love soccer and love games and love movies.....but also wanna be treated like real adults and taken seriously and voice their opinions. And he's happy to be a part of that.

And then, out came this ohmigodamazing video game, the new ever talked about Virtual Reality Soul Stream ONLINE. All the kids on the forum were talking about it, and heck even out in Australia access to the game was fast. KING saved up every bit of his allowance just to buy the thing when news of it hitting the shelves reached him. And while his mom was kinda eh about him spending even more time online, he just.....wouldn't budge on it. He was going to join his friends and they were going to play this game together. He is really frickin excited to start....can't wait to meet everybody in-game and maybe....form like a clan and beat all the big kid players' asses~
