TERMS
PvP
Player versus player is fairly common in the game in the form of dueling to see who is stronger. Player killing, otherwise known as PK, is another form of PVP, and involves outright murdering another player in game. Towns and cities are PVP-free zones, though dueling is permitted with permission from all involved.
PvE
Player versus environment is the majority of the game itself, with players fighting monsters, dealing with traps, and exploring the land. However, Seal Stones block a good chunk of everything, and to progress further, the mystery of them has to be solved.
Gold
The in-game currency, used everywhere in Runis for an exchange of good or services, is gold. Players work to earn it through questing, fighting monsters, and doing odd jobs in game.
EXP
Experience points, which determine what rank a player is. The more experience you have, the higher your rank.
Rank
The game's leveling system. Every player is group up by rank, going in the order of E - D - C - B - A - S. Rank determines how much health a player has and how much a skill does on the base level. It takes a long time to go from Rank E to Rank S, so good luck grinding.
Class
A class is another way a player is grouped. The game has a multitude of different classes, but even if two players have the same class, their skills are usually not the same, due to the personalization of those in the game's coding. At Rank E, everyone is a novice. At Rank D, Rank B, and Rank S, a class change occurs, where the system determines the best class for a player based on the skills they have gained.
Party
A party consists of two to six players. Every player in a party can see the health bars of those in the same party. This is extremely handy for quests and dungeons, where teamwork is crucial.
Dungeons
Places in the world that tend to have more monsters than fields. Higher level monsters, too. Every dungeon is instance-based, meaning that if you enter it one time, it might be completely different when you enter it a second time.
Interface
The interface is something that every player can see if they desire to, just be concentrating and willing it to appear. It allows them to bring up different menus, which other players can see while they are raised, from their inventory to their quest log. Things can be selected by touching the air space they temporarily appear in. It also allows them to see the screen name of any player just by focusing above their head.
