Charles Eden - no, that's Inspector Eden to you - was born in Paris, France to a loving mother and father, alongside his dear elder brother, Jehan. They lived a pleasant life, with his mother working at a pharmaceutical company and his father a chief technologist and co-founder of Edel Tech. It was a perfectly pleasant life....at least until young, fifteen year old Charles witnessed dire tragedy. He had just been coming home that night - nothing was out of the ordinary, until he happened to catch the news. He, Jehan and their father were staring at the screen - Maman was found dead in a ditch not far away from where she worked. The police were "looking for suspects".

The case was never resolved. And as the years passed, the remainder of the family....well, they struggled along, but most of them managed to blow past it. Jehan ended up getting a degree in IT, and worked for their father as a tech consultant. It wasn't the happiest family, but they were doing the best they could in the years to come. Charles, though, he couldn't get used to it. He only grew more agitated as time passed, culminating in the final departure at age twenty-one; he just couldn't handle the house and its ghosts, so he took to England, away from anything familiar and began his training as a police officer.

As a rather gifted young man, he moved up through the ranks rather quickly upon his graduation, eventually landing himself the position of Inspector at age twenty-seven. He took to his position with great grace, solving as many cases as he could manage and more. Eden.....is bit more enthusiastic about his job than some, taking the enforcement of law and punishment of criminals very seriously, very personally. But as much as crime was still on the streets, he was painfully aware of internet crime's drastic rise. People - children - were being fooled by vile criminals into giving away personal information, and losing their money at best, and in some cases it was....worse. Three months ago he, along with several of his coworkers, began instituting an undercover operation where they would pose as civilians - sometimes as young teenagers, sometimes as the opposite gender; in Charles' case, it was the former. Their mission? To draw out the perps and catch them before they did any real harm to anyone else. Of course...the introduction of this massively multiplayer online game was a perfect opportunity; many young people would be playing it - it was heaven for perps. As such, Inspector Eden joined the game under the alias Revenant. No one would be getting hurt on the net under his watch.
