THE TOWN AND FIELD
Ornella is a largely peaceful, rustic area that serves as the beginner town for the players of Soul Stream Online. Situated north of a small river, it bears basic player shops and has several great places to begin learning the basics of the game, from combat to life skills.
The town itself is situated at the top of a grassy slope that rises from the river, and the small roads that cut through town connect at the small town square. Surrounding the square are the tailor's, the grocery store, the bank, and the mayor's house. If you venture a short distance away in any given direction, you'll come across the healer's house (who will heal you for a fee), the inn, the blacksmith, the school, and the Church of Adustum. You can learn useful information from all of these NPCs, so try to visit as many places as you can.
Up on a slope, a short distance away from the main town, is the local community garden. What is growing changes depending on the time of year, with flowers and vegetables being divided up in multiple plots.
To the south and southeast of town, across the river, is a large field. This field has low-level mobs, mostly foxes and wolves, that are excellent for working on skills and learning the ropes of the land. Travel far enough to the east and you'll find Ornella Culvert, but you'd better be certain that you're ready to face the creatures inside if you decide to venture in.
If you travel north, you'll find a path that leads into a forest where the temperature drops sharply...
Currently, the path straight south out of Ornella is blocked by a Seal Stone. It looks like the players are going to have to find out how to break the stone if they want to venture to new areas...
