Growing up in a small town in the middle of nowhere leads to having a very small social pool, particularly when there aren't a lot of kids around. In his early years, Darian was extremely competitive, which ended up driving the few children he knew away from him: he was good, he knew he was good, and he didn't make apologies for it.

His closest relationship was with another boy in his neighborhood, and they weren't even friends: just two boys, driven by competitive spirit and a mutual dislike of each other to reach higher heights. This, in turn, just made Darian's dislike of other human beings blossom into full-blown antisocial behavior. His mother expects him to start poisoning small animals (for science) any day now.

Darian purchased Soul Stream ONLINE on a dare. He doesn't like MMOs and they're not something he has a lot of skill at... and now that he's stuck in one, he's very much not happy. He plans to take this unhappiness out on the environment, other players, and anything else he comes across.
