SCREEN NAME Walküre AGE 20 GENDER Female HEIGHT 5'11'' TYPE Player PLAYED BY Carma |
BIOGRAPHY Emelene is.....a problem child, a perfect contrast to her twin Deiter, the perfect son. This was clear from a young age, when he was never late, never sick, and she missed several classes just relaxing with her friends. One might expect that she was just another dropout....but that's where it gets confusing. Deiter wasn't bad in school....naw, her twin drew in decent grades. But Emmie? A's all across. The fact was she was smart - smarter than she knew or anyone else knew what to do with, in her kind of personality. People were either treating her like she was a bitch....which hey, she was.....or like a nutcase......which....maybe she was? But she embraced both. The world wanted her to be a bitchy nutcase? Then, fine, that's what she'd be. It honestly was probably...late elementary school when she just...stopped caring about people. Or did she ever really care to begin with? Eh, maybe, maybe not. Deiter went on to become a cop, while Emmie....well, let's just say that when she says she's a freelance programmer, she's not lying exactly....but her code isn't the nice "build some software" type - it's malicious. She builds viruses. It made thinking back to when they were kids and they'd play cops and robbers utterly hilarious to Emmie. She grew less and less caring as to who all her code hurt....honestly she was turning a ton of profit, she didn't care if people bought her code to steal banking information or social security information or to break into peoples' houses or what. She just didn't care. Didn't affect her, right? She started pushing herself further, even, experimenting with new code, trying to see just what limits she could reach without being noticed. That was probably what started her into gaming. It was a good way to get some rest in, just get a breather, between jobs. And when she was stressed out, offing bots left and right made her feel a hell of a lot better. And she was.....really into it, like....really. She found herself feeling....actually passionate about something for once, that wasn't just getting the green green green. She was extremely competitive, often trying to single-handedly defeat opponents, even going so far as to sacrifice teammates to achieve her ends. It didn't matter as long as she won.....it wasn't like she cared about people to begin with, why should she start now? And it was great too because as a programmer....she had the advantage. She knew how to beat the AI best, and oh, did she ever. ....But then this....Soul Stream ONLINE game showed up. She wasn't so sure about it at first, but hey....she was running out of steam with the other games and she didn't have any jobs coming up. So there was nothing wrong with it right? She signed on, with the full intent of beating this game just as she beat any other. One thing she's curious of though is what it feels like for a player character to die in a virtual reality game. ...Best way to find out is to kill someone right? ...Not like it matters, it's just a character. Just another person to not care about. Who cares if she's stuck here? She'll have a blast ripping apart the playerbase~ SKILLS [ DAGGER PROFICIENCY ] |
